About the owners
Tom is a Co-Founder and shareholder of ITAS. He also owns and operates Geertsen & Associates, CPA, PC, a CPA firm. He has over 15 years of accounting and tax preparation experience.
Tom graduated from Weber State University in 1999 with a Masters Degree in Professional Accountancy. He also graduated from the University of Utah in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.
Tom values time spent with his wife and five children. He enjoys boating, fishing and family vacations. He also likes to spend his free time coaching his children and watching sporting events. He enjoys helping others and is a active member in his church.
Jeff is a Co-Founder and shareholder of ITAS. He has over 15 years of experience doing accounting and taxes. He has experience in a variety of industries including, publishing & distribution, professional services, manufacturing, public accounting, and of course transportation and trucking. Over the last five years, he has worked exclusivley with Company Drivers, Owner Operators and Independent Contractors in the transportation industry.
Jeff graduated from Weber State University in 1996 with a Masters Degree in Professional Accountancy and a certificate in Information Technology. In 1995 he graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Jeff enjoys doing volunteer work within the community and for his church. He has servered in the Utah Air National Guard for over 20 years and he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
